CARLO SANTINI Museum of Agricultural Engineering

The "Carlo Santini" Museum is annexed to the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy of the Territory, Section of Mechanization of Productive Activities. The most representative specimens range from the second half of the nineteenth century up to the first half of the twentieth century, among these have a prominent place the driving machines and the collection of plows. There are also the very first examples of seeding machines, planters, mowers and threshers. Observing the museum collection it is possible to retrace the history of agricultural mechanization that has played a fundamental role also in the transformation of the rural landscape.
